With 27 years of professional experience, Ms. Cooksley excels in aromatherapy, medical herbalism and nutritional healing, with a specialty in cancer prevention as well as environmental illness and stress. Ms. Cooksley previously worked as an Oncology Certified Nurse, Infectious Disease Nurse, and American Cancer Society and American Red Cross Certification instructor.
Ms. Cooksley earned her Degree in Nursing from Berkshire Community College and studied botanical medicine at Bastyr University and Advanced Studies in Essential Oils at Purdue University. She is an Internationally Certified Aromatherapist and fellow member of the American Association of Integrative Medicine, Network Leader of the American Holistic Nurses Association and Educational Committee Member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. Ms. Cooksley stays current with the trends in her profession by studying under the mentorship of several physicians in the U.S. and abroad in Biological Medicine, Endobiogenic Concept and disease prevention. She believes educating and empowering individuals on self-care using natural remedies is an important issue in her profession.
